Spend Your Summer with NREC

All internships with application instructions are hosted on Carnegie Mellon University's careers site, Workday. Applications for the 2024 cohort are now closed.

Our competitive internship program is an opportunity to work on projects for companies across the globe, connect with experts in your field, and cultivate unique skillsets. What will you accomplish during a summer in Pittsburgh's "Robotics Row"?

Summer internships at NREC typically last 12-14 weeks from mid May to mid August. Soak up some knowledge (and pizza) during regular lunch & learn seminars, expand your technical skills taking classes in the machine shop, and participate in off site team building activities. Previous intern cohorts have gone bowling, kayaked on the Allegheny River just steps away from our building, and spent a day at Kennywood Theme Park.
